John,
My van has needed shocks for about the last 15,000 miles.
That is really not that long for me though. I drive about 3,000 miles a month. Current is 139,000 miles.
The reason I say anything about the ACDelco's is only because when I first got the van at 82,000 miles the ride was better than my Lincoln. And the van was loaded with tools and equipment.
I have watched all of the shock debates over time, and they are enjoyable.
I will more than likely get Bilsteins... But consider this. The ACDelco's are what sold so many of these vans in the first place. I'm just sayin ???
I am glad you have a good sense of humor though, I don't want to offend any.
Good luck, and let us know what you get.
Jim

Re: Girls And Shocks
very true turf, i ran my stock shocks for about 100,000 miles changed them at 100,000 just because i felt like 100,000 was quite a bit even though it felt fine. i have now put 3 sets on in 96,000 all of which felt good for about a week then felt just as bad as the ones i replaced. currently i have stabiltraks but had monroes and bilsteins, all garbage if you ask me. my truck has 240,000 and still has the stock shocks and feels plenty stiff up front yet and if i do change them i think i will put ac delcos on. anything else you are just paying for a name.
