Still I got to give Firecakes three thumbs up for the planing of the NECO's.She would contact the camp grounds and book all the sites in one spot,manage each site so as people left and came everyone had a spot open,make sure the deposits where taken care of,put together the pot luck dinner,just do it all.
Lynne if you read this,I do have a appreciation for the yrs of work you did and I know that many have tried to match you,but I don't know anyone who has. =D>

Although I had a hand in planning NECO's I was not the only one involved. There were several other members who helped out. I will not even try to mention them for fear I will leave some one out unintentionally.
Planning does take a lot of work but it can be done as long as a time, date and place are set. NECO #1 started out with 2 Astro / Safari families and really grew. That is the whole idea to start small and just do it.
