Update, Today, I got a used drive shaft that fits perfectly.
Its a stock d-shaft from an early 80's Jeep CJ7.
The length is perfect and so is the u-joint type.
A drop in fit, nice, and only 50 bux + 10 for delivery from Victoria.
Gotta say thats a heck of a lot better than the 200 bux to resize, or 400 to build a new unit, that I waz getting quoted!!
All Thanks to the classifieds at one of my other favorite sites...

Oh ya, Hey Loopie, Thanks, those are 235-75-15.
Next time I will try on some 31x10.5 for size....

Your van looks awesome. =D> I,m sure it handles the logging roads beautifully. Have you checked out the Walbran/ Carmanah valleys? Both are nice parks.
I'm a regular at island4x4 as well, great site with a good crowd.

Ok, we went to Carmannah Valley Park last weekend.
It was beautiful, as expected! (I know I know, Rule 6B.)
I thought of that as I tried to take the first picture and the batteries were dead, so as far as y'all know, it didnt happen (but I know it did.)
Anyways, got new batteries now...
So, Driving home from work as usual, thought a sidetrack was in order so looked for a road to try out.
pulled off of highway 18 to investigate an interesting looking road.
Took video and uploaded it to youtube, see...

Well, my Red Safari GT needed a paint job so badly, that I actually used a small roller and some flat black Tremclad on the poor old girl.
She actually looks almost ok from twenty feet away or so.
Oh well, its always dark and rainy here in winter when she gets the most use, so she should blend right in.

Took the kids to Port Renfrew Today.
Got up early to see lowest tide at 8am.
It was a beautiful day, and now the kids and dog are worn out...

- Pit Stop along the way to the beach...

Well Ok.
My Black 1990 Safari GT that I got for only 800 bux and drove a whole lot with almost no repairs, is starting to feel pretty sad&old lately.
So, I've been keeping an eye on the classifieds, and I have found another candidate for the harem...
Going to lay eyes on it tomorrow. What do Y'all think of her? I'm Stoked !! I love the seats.
He is asking $2350. Clean 1990 AWD Astro 187,000 km drives well, good tires Electric windows electric drivers seat.Seats 8 rear seats removable adjustable steering roof bars air conditioning alloy wheels radio/cd player cruise control

AWD/4x4 vans need to go up, not down.
