cool pictures, and it could easily be mistaken for an Astro. It is a shame that GM ended the astro line.... one more of their many mistakes

And I would like to think that if they kept making Astros or get smart and bring it back (which would be a no brainer, as shown by the fairly large following, still indicated by this and other astro web sites) I would hope that they would retain the rear wheel or awd set up, and use the powertrain from the silverado, including its towing and hauling capabilities, along with the six speed auto trans, for better fuel economy, and lightening the weight of the body, maybe switching to plastics and/or fiberglass where possible, maybe eliminating the rear side widows, replacing them with lighter than glass panels....

A slightly longer body might also be useful, better aerodynamics, more hauling capacity, along with high tops, for similar reasons (weight, and increased cargo room and head room)
