Re: Project unfinished business 92 shorty
Sounds good, not loud but not like a vacuum cleaner either. Just a lil rumble, but nice and comfortable for my 60 mile daily commute. The tips are small, but they are perfect. Cool enough to garner a second look, but subtle enough to go unnoticed to the average person. Plus the old exhaust got cut off at the axle when I lowered it and the droning has been killing me, so anything was an improvement. I'll let you know how I like it in a week or two once the newness wears off.

Finally! Taillights have found their home. Still got alot of bodywork to do, but just a shimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
Heres a good before and after. Also gives you a little perspective to the size of the exhaust on the back of the van.

Re: Project unfinished business 92 shorty
Finally got both sides done. My buddy Mel got the other tails done today, and I must say I'm really happy with the way things are shaping up. Driving home the light was good and I found a spot on the side of the road for an impromptu photo shoot. I know you guys love pics. So...

Re: Project unfinished business 92 shorty
Thx for the comments guys. Got a little more done today. My buddy Mel who has been doing all the metal fab work started tacking in the tag filler. After a lil grinding it fit perfect and is already making the back of the van look way better.

I know I haven't posted in a while but I've been extremely busy and work on the van has been slow. I was busy with the SEMA show and then it's been crazy busy at work since. For those of you that are interested here are my pics from SEMA along with the best coverage I have seen online of the show.

Okay so here are some pics of the exhaust from underneath.
Here is a shot of the inside of the wheel well. You can see rub marks even with the 3mm spacer tucked in behind the wheel.
So I guess that means I'll have to get the Ridetech parallel 4 link and shockwaves for the rear end. The plan is to mount it all inboard of the frame rails and create room for some big fat wide wheels under the rear. Gonna minitub it while i'm in there to buy as much clearance as possible. Oh yeah, new development, my good friend dropped a set of seats off for me. I can't wait to get these things in there.

They are Boss Motorsports 338. front is +14 and rear is +20mm. Rubs a lil cuz i'm so low. The rear needed a 5mm spacer to clear the inner fenderwell. Still rubbed the paint off but I never hear it rub. The front rubs on the inner fender, haven't had a chance to roll it yet.
