This is copied from Smiliesafari thread it is on a Gen I van,but I thought the same applied to Gen II.Someone could chime in to confirm:

OK.......Here's the part numbers for the big brake upgrade.
Front calipers are Cardone rebuilds. Part numbers: 184122 & 184123. These calipers are used on about a dozen different Chevrolet trucks in the years 79 - 86.
Front disc pads are Wagner. Part number: SX 153
For you guys that have a van that is 10 years or older I would recommend you also change the brake hoses. They will be the stock hoses for your application.
The rear brakes consist of the backing plates and all related hardware from the mid 90's full size cars. Not all full size cars have the 11x2 brakes so take a tape measure. A couple of cars to look at would be the Chev Caprice sedan and station wagon. Police and taxi versions. And Buick Roadmasters. You might even go back to the 80's and look at the big Oldsmobiles.
The 11x2 shoes are Wagner. Part number: PAB 462.
The wheel cylinders are Wagner. Here you have an option of using either 7/8" or 1". It depends on how much weight you cary in your van. The Buick sedan uses the 7/8" and the station wagon uses the 1". I used the 1" because the "Smilievan" carries 800 - 900 lbs of ballooning equipment all the time. The part number for the 1" cylinders is: 51088. Both sides are the same. I hope this helps. It's well worth the effort. \:D/

Thanks Gary.

Would these be the correct braided break lines to fit?

Rather than replace those bump stops if your going to carry some wt around Ben,this might be a better solution for you.

I'm not looking to carry much weight but I guess the upgrade will help with the drivability of the van.

What were your thoughts on the braided brake hoses?

i have those exact ones on my 97 not much to say anything was better then the cracking ones that were there when i got it and they look nice if you care to look for them they have a nice coating on them so material doesn't get between the braid and the teflon? hose inside the braid and the extra rubber support at the fitting to move the flex point away from the fitting to make then legal I'm only done a couple thousand kilometers and a couple times mashing the brake pedal no problems yet
