Hello, I've been a member on this site for a while but never introduced myself or made a post, which is kind of rude as i have definitely benefited from all of the info on here, so here goes....

My names Lewis I'm an Englishman who has been living in the US for around 5 years, i worked as a mechanic for nearly 20 years but that was awhile ago.

My Astro van is a 2004 AWD with quite a few mods i made to enable the van to be used for overland expeditions as well as a daily driver.
Here's a few of them ...

2" body lift
re-keyed torsion bars
+3" Overland Vans leaf springs
Journeys extended spring shackles and hangers
Cooper Discoverer STT Pro LT215/85R16 with full size spare
Rugged Ridge winch bumper with custom outriggers and frame mounts holding a Smittybilt X2O-10K Waterproof winch
Custom made rear winch (9000 lb Badland Winch) bumper with swing away spare carrier/tool box/ladder
Custom made expedition roof rack
100w rack mounted solar panel charging an Optima yellow top second battery powering the winches and 10x 18w LED lights (fitted around the rack)

there's a few more mods as well as a few more to come.... now if i could just work out how to put pictures up here!?! in the meantime here's my instagram

Wow,
Nice roof rack with solar panel and LED lights.
The air intake snorkel is nice too. A very capable Expedition Portal type vehicle.
