Hi,
Finally assembled prototype quick disconnect front sway bar link .
The front sway bar is about 1 1/8" diameter, 29.28 mm.
The OEM link has rubber bushings at each end to isolate vibration.
The alloy Ford Ranger 4x4 eye to eye link has pressed in rubber in the eye.
So I figure I go go metal to metal with the Uni strut P1973 clevis bolted right to the lower control arm and to top bolted right to sway bar end eye.
To disconnect the sway bar for more articulation off road, un screw and remove the M12 x 70 mm 1.75 mm pitch bolts and remove the Ford alloy link. Then need to safety wire the sway bar to the upper shock bracket or?
AP
Next weekend I will try to actually test fit on vehicle.
