Detroit Axle hubs

Post by Captn. Crunch »

I was getting up to speed on a sweeping entrance ramp when something popped. It seems as though the right side AWD hub has failed. I called around to my LAPS and looked online. Amazon had a unit from Detroit Axle. I run Detroit Axles in my van so I went to their website.
I bought a pair of hubs for $111.00 and free shipping. These hubs come with a ten year warranty. Hubs with a much higher price didn’t come anywhere near that kind of warranty

Something inside the hub gave up the ghost. Pretty sure they’re original equipment so they don’t owe me a thing. Not a lot of play but it’s making noise. Louder when turning left or going fast so I’ll just go slow and turn right
