Slider door handle

Post by MountainManJoe »

Does anybody know where I might find a durable sliding door exterior handle for a 2013 Express/Savana? I just broke my 3rd one.

Obviously OEM was no good.
I then ordered some on Amazon from a company call PT Auto Warehouse out of California. They were even crappier than OEM.
I need something that works and I'm tired of replacing this cheap plastic garbage.

Does the lock assembly itself have issues? I'm extrapolating from experience with my M11006, which, I suspect, didn't have enough meat on the release pawls to allow for wear (see Passenger door, BOTH handles broken. How open?).

There might be a little too much tension. I plan to address that. The design is also terrible. But the handles are still junk.
The whole situation needs as much help as it can get.
