Hello from Corona California

Post by ashdavely »

New to me van owner from Socal here!

I may have made a huge mistake but I bought a 2005 Chevy Express 3500 with 215K on it - and it's a Bus! It used to be a wheelchair transport for a retirement community. The wife let me buy it for some weekend trips as a "camper". Even if that means just tossing some sleeping bags on the floor. I want to convert it to an RV eventually. I paid $3200 for it and the previous owner hid some issues that i'm now dealing with.

I'm 47.

Hoping to get some get some advice here from others past experiences.

Welcome Ashdavely. It's hard to go wrong for $3.2k.

The body builder manuals on gmupfitter.com will probably be of great use to you.
