Greetings from the Bluegrass! My wife and I just bought our 7th conversion van - a 2004 GMC Savana 1500 customized by Express Vans in Warsaw, Indiana. It's a bit older, but in excellent shape. Like all 20+ year old vehicles, it has a few bumps and warts, but all in all, it's very comfortable and very familiar.
We've been driving conversion vans for nearly 40 years. My first vehicle was a 1964 Ford Econoline I resurrected from a local junk yard and "converted" with a nice stereo, bucket seats, a bed in the back, and vents in the roof - both front and back. A nice set of mag wheels in the rear, some fog lights, and some baby moons on the front and the GE Phone company van took on a new life of its own!
Just stumbled across this site today... had some questions I've already been able to answer here via Search... so thanks for that!
Talk to y'all soon!
Randy
