Oh, man. Poor choice of words there. #-o What I mean't to say was "I'll post some shots of the tent actually being used in the wooded camping area." :)

[quote="ryanhettenbach"]I'm an Eagle Scout and I've done A LOT of camping in many different tents and I can tell you that this tent won't offer much rain protection. The tiny rain fly on top looks almost useless. A decent rain fly that goes all the way to the ground is key when buying a tent.

The SUV tent does have a full rain fly that is a new option. It runs about $60.00 for the large 10x10' model.

This is the tent maker. If you go to the site and look in the 2008 catalogue under accessories you will see it.

Hmmm We do not action shots do we?

I have a few tents my next one I really want a larger vestibule - it is nice to have cover while taking off muddy shoes before going into dry tent. Rains a lot here in the BC woods :)

That looks like its going to be a sweet set up. It's downright awesome to bunk up next to a shelter like that. Lord knows I've climbed out of many a backpacking tent in the cold dew to get the coffee going, temporarily wondering just exactly what it was I liked about camping. :-s Looking forward to getting my van set up with a similar kit.

Looking forward to your pics.
