91 safari NO power under load, revs just fine in park , HELP! ](*,)

give us a little more details on what your going through with the power loss , i just went through more or less the same thing with my brothers van & his turned out to be a bad timing chain (jumped time ) .

heres my post about the problems i had , maybe you can get a few ideas with this ,

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.


DAILY THOUGHT:
SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

i, too, had the same symptoms...ok at rest but no power...turned out the cat. converter had burned out... after several distributor cap missing sessions.
