ok i'm getting waht sounds like a ticking sound from the passenger side of my van i assume this is lifter tick? what causes this and how do i get rid of it.I can't hear it at idle but when driving i can here it. a coworker suggested i use kleenflo 700 Kleen Valves and Lifters and see if it helps.

You may also have an exhaust manifold leak. Will sound just like a lifter. You ask how I know,,,several hours total trying to locate the lifter and adjusting rockers only to hear my son come in and say, Dad, sound like you might have a header leak. All you can say is,,oh yea, I know,,working on rockers right now,,get to that later.
