Leaky T-case!!! Help

Hey folks from Snowy23,
I've got a bit of a problem. 91 awd astro, 200k+ miles. The transfercase is leaking fluid I think. I see fluid being deposited on the underside of the van from what looks like the tcase area. It doesn't seem to leak on the ground anywhere, just the underside of the van like it's being sprayed or something. Where could this be coming from. I'm wondering if the vent on the t-case is leaking. I smell it on the cat convertor when I exit the truck. Don't want any fires and all. When I first noticed it, the fluid seem to be coming from the area where the tcase bolts to the rear drive shaft. I've been running with the front d-shaft disconnected as the tcase is binding on turns with it connected. Hope to have a 2speed tcase sometime this summer. Anyway hope someone can point me in the right direction for a fix.
Thanks for any and all help. =P~

Could be the seal where your driveshaft slip yoke goes into the t-case.This doesn't bolt on,it slides in.Should probably check your t-case fluid level. If your going with a 2 speed t-case,you may have to push the project up the to do list a little sooner! ](*,)

Also sounds to me like the slip yoke seal is worn. Which also means the bushing is also worn. These are available at your local GM dealer. Not sure if the after market has them or not.
