I am looking to trade my 1990 Thunderbird supercoupe (with a spun rod bearing) +$400.00 for this 94 Astro... What do you think??

A little about the Thunderbird SC.. Rebuilt top half of motor about 10k miles ago, tranny shifts great without grinding or slipping, clearcoat peeling, interior average, newer tires, about 130k miles...

A little about the Astro.. Lowered 6/8, shaved door handles with poppers, needs paint job, also about 130k miles....

Anything I should watch out for when purchasing this van??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I'd want to know when/if the idler arms, fuel pump, and rear brake lines have been replaced. All can be replaced by a shade tree mechanic, but if that stuff is replaced already it would sweeten the deal.

Agreed. also check what brand the door poppers are

Does look pretty good too with hardly any rust.

sounds like a good deal.... I like the dutch doors too, wish mine had them, (might do replace my barn doors, some time in the future...... sounds like a winter project... a couple winters from now...) :-k
