I am going to start my donor van tranny rebuild.I was wondering if anyone has every used parts from Art Carr.I remember him yrs ago being one of the first to mod 700R4's.

I have used art carr shift kit and shifter several years ago with good results but it was on a th400. I say go for it its very reputable name.

He was building race car transmissions in Fountain Valley, California when I was Drag racing out there in 1969-70. His were second to none! He was also the first, or one of the first to build the 200-4R for serious performance work and made them live behind some SERIOUS turbo V-6 Buicks! I would use his stuff with a high degree of confidence.
