Hello from Ohio

Post by Astro1 »

Just picked up an '95 Astro AWD (early, 1/95, composite spring). Super clean with 126K miles.
Looking for info. The plan is to make it more trail worthy as I do camping. Of course, without TOO much of a trade off in MPG. Always a balance to be struck. Look forward to participating here.

Hey, welcome to ASV's. You've got a bunch of 4x4 guys here with all kinds of info. If you'll do a seach you'll find much on what's been done and they'll also chime in here sooner or later.
Good luck.

OK, now i see you have a 95. The sticker is on one of the door jams. Look for a code that starts with the letter G. The codes are in alphabetical order. When you find that code it will have numbers following the "G". Do a search. That info is here somewhere. \:D/

The middle part of Ohio is nice. :-s Especially the southern end of the south eastern section of the middle part. As well as the eastern edge of the northwestern section of the middle part. Nice areas.

Hey, I'm building my Astro for camping too. So far, so good. The MPG really isn't anything to email home about, but its all relative.

Welocome aboard.

Maybe my humor is a little obtuse, Your in the northern part of Ohio, you mentioned I might be from the southern, I said the middle part, which is where Columbus is. Thanks for the welcome.
