Windshield washer not working...

Post by madslammer »

Hi guys. I've been trying to fix this for a while now, new switch, new wiper delay board, checked the washer motor and that's fine, wiring seems to be ok too . . . #-o I have no idea what's the problem.
Any Ideas?
Thanks.

The pump is working, I tested with a direct wire. Also the connection from the wiring harness to the pump, and from the wiper motor to the washer motor. The only thing missing is a signal from the switch to the delay board, I get one for the mist part of the deal. . .and the wipers work fine. Also checked the fuse. This one is really buggin me. I could wire a switch to manually activate the pump, but I already spend over $100, so that would the the last thing I would do.
Thanks for the comments.

Have you removed your hoses and blown air through them? Did this to mine and had a bunch of junk in them.

Well, hoses seem to be clear, I ended up using the cruise control set button to activate the washer pump. . .

There is a plastic connector near the base of your steering column.Try to replace that.It connects to the column with snap on tabs.Make sure you get the right one. There is a difference between delay wipers and no delay wipers for this part.

Any pics or what's this connector for? What is it connected to?
Thanks.

Nope-got issues with posting the pictures right now.It is at the top of the steering column near the base by the firewall with two wire multi connectors and looks like a 1/2 circle colored white and controls wipers, windshield washer, etc.
