Details Brutalis, details!! :poke:

How much lift to run those 36" tires? It looks like the van is still using the factory IFS, true? Still running the AWD case, or swapped for a 2-spd t-case? And where did the flares come from?

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who wants to know A LOT more!

(And thanks for sharing!)

YEah, put me on Matts list, its gonna be long one.

The originak reseating a tire bead with starting fluid was a LIFTED Icelandic ASTRO! Now I can't find the video.

My neighbor, Emil, owns Master Pull offroad recovery equipment, he's from Iceland.

Well, you've certainley answered the question of what to go with in deep snow "tall and skinny or tall and FAT " I take it the fatty's give you the flotation you need, Thanks for posting the pics

"Tall and skinny" if your plowing snow!
More pounds of weight per square inch of contact with the road surface =D> Dig in ability to push that pile of snow in front of the plow.

Look at the window and such that is still the slider just made to open like a regular door. That is so awesome!!! Good eye crash I didn't even notice that at first.

Glad you figured that out and posted it--it never occurred to me that the fender flairs would stop a slider from opening, but it sure is obvious now.

I will try to follow up later with all the detail about this beast (and maybe photos). This one still have the original 4.3L engine and are doing fine in the deep snow.
