I appreciate the fabrication skillz involved to get the front end to look like it left the factory like that.

I can see all the new curved surfaces and edges that had to be created to blend in with the new headlamps, grille and bumper. Well Done!

Ain't that the truth! I was thinking that when I was looking at where the headlights and hood come together.

I need to bring my van to your shop. I'm not sure what I need you to do to it, yet, I just know it needs to go there.

Wow.

very nice work and thanks for this thread. i was going to do a body kit but after seeing this thread i have now decided to do the escalade converion, roll pan shaved doors(not the back) and suicide driver door. with these detailed pix and helpful info it pretty much clear to what steps to take. But...

the one thing i need more info on is the front bomper. wheir u made the cuts? how much u take out? fabbed any mounting brackets for it? got or can u get more detailed pix of the bomper after mods? did u mount the grille first then headlights then bomper? lastly did u hammer the hood to round it over, or did u just have to trim it?

sry for all the ?s.. thanks for posting this thread.

this is my van..

I was able to use the front bumper without sectioning it. I made a small cut on top to let the bumper flex a little more. Yes I had to make all custom brackets to hold the bumper on. Same with the grill and headlights. It's a lot of work, especially getting the fenders to match the lights. Start with the grill so it centered, then the headlights, last is the bumper. That's how I did it. As far as the hood I had to trim a sliver off each side, and just massage it with body hammer, and hands to get it to roll down right and still match the fender.
