Don't worry guys...I can sleep in the garage anytime I want to..that is the man's area! :muhaha:

Oh and it wouldn't take much to turn on the propane and hook up the batteries in the camper...then I'd be sleeping in style!

Dean, I got room here in SoCal also.... don`t worry about the fires, they are 30 miles from me. (I live in the concrete suburbs)

Maybe between the two of us (if I can stop doing body mods) we can actually lay down some top coat custom paint on my van....Now that will shock everybody....!

Plus with our combined BarbyQin` skillz.... > it`s gonna be, ' Party Central ' , X 10 overhere at my place....

Bring all your shorts and T-shirts, and I`ll see you here next week..... :supz:

Hey guys. Just checking back in again.. Well we've been in Az for just over 4 years now. A couple of months ago, we donated my wife's 96 Astro to a needy family. We had kept it as our backup vehicle for quite a while. It still runs great, I had just put a new a/c compressor in it.

Since we moved to Arizona, I have gotten into jeeps. This is because I love history, and there is miles and miles of back roads here in Az. We live about 15 miles west of Tombstone (by road). My kids grew up in Florida, and my wife is from the Philippines, so I wanted to be able to take them exploring. We now have my YJ Wrangler that we use for rough trails, and my wife's Grand Cherokee for when we want to do overnighters or longer less strenuous off road exploring.

I sure miss my old v8 Astro. I may build another one someday, because that thing cruiesed like a dream. 75mph, smooth as silk, quiet as a mouse inside, and good gas mileage. Well, who knows..

Anyhow, I thought I would check in here and say hi. I don't have a link to the old board where all my pictures were, so I can't see them, but, this sure brings back memories.

Take Care,
Bill

Good to hear from you Bill. I'm not on here much any longer either but happened to catch an email on your post. Take care my V8 Astro friend and fly low and slow out there in Az. Good to see you're still kicking.
