hello from colorado

Post by tinytherhino »

Hello everyone, I recently got my first Astro van... a 2000 AWD. \:D/ I was very happy with it for a few days until I found this site. Now I am planning on spending all my money on mods #-o 4" olv lift coming soon. Dreaming of 4wd conversion. Thanks for the inspiration! =D> Anyone else here in the area or from Colorado?

Welcome to ASV. One of the original Astro lifting pioneers has Colorado connections i believe, but I couldn't tell you where, I just recall seeing it on some threads.

A 4x4 Astro is a great Colorado vehicle. You should be able to find hours of useful info and reading material in the board index.

Cheers.

thanks for the warm welcome everyone... if any of you ever come through northern colorado, you are welcome to stop by. I live on a lake in the foothills with campsites across the street on the waters edge. Lots of forest access within 15min to 1hour drive that perfect for the vans :muhaha: ! I took my stock van up for some camping this week and it was perfect! I will post pics of the van in action as soon as I get a new camera.( the wife droped the old one in the ocean in redwood state park ](*,) ) See ya round.

Hey T.Low, there is some fantastic kayaking about 20 min. from here on the Poudre river. If you haven't already then you should check it out! The water is supposed to be really good this year.

Oh, yeah, Colorado is a ww boater mecca. When they are forcasted to have an extremely low season, we get a huge influx of Colorado boaters here in Washington, and Bellingham specifically. I wish we had a downtown white water park like Boulder has!
