Transfer case seal leak

Is this an easy seal to replace? Its only a slow leak, but I may as well buy the parts (if available) in case it gets worse with my cross country trip coming up. It kinda looks like a pain in the butt.

At first I thought it was coming from the bottom, so I cleaned it and added a bead of RTV to the outside thinking this may do the job.

But turns out its coming higher up...from here.

To replace that seal, you should be able to remove the drive shaft, then remove the yoke nut and yoke. The seal can then be pried out and replaced. I don't know what the torque spec is for the nut though.

Cool. Thanks! I may or may not get to it before moving to CA from CO.

The old seal was a bear to get out. Then I realized that the new seal was from a 95' t-case, while my 94' or earlier t-case needed a different seal. Luckily carquest had it. The rubber part/seal diameter is roughly 1.5" in case anyone wants to know.
