This posting is about my Pro Mod Street Rod van.It is a cad designed full frame and cage with a frame and cage wt of 585lbs.The target wt wet is 2900lbs.It is a coilover on all fours with a 4 link rearend.I am allowed to post the body mods because to date that is the only part of the design that is paid for.The body is a chopped top and sectioned body for a roof ht of 48" at the drivers door.I will use the 20+ years of drag racing and I am current now learning the technology for todays engine systems. This is my last Street Rod given this yr I will be 60 yrs old and I hope it will be my best effort to date.It is not a over night project and as new things develop I will add to this posting.

While it has been awhile since I have posted anything on this,I wanted to say it is a project I have shelfed only temporary and this project is still alive.
The glass cutting will come from a group of street rodders who I know here in Roch NY.They have in there club a glass guy who has done work on things like chop top 32 Ford coupes and alike.
I will have to complete Ole Yellar and the remodeling of the RV before I get back to building this van.But it will happen and as I get things done,I will post the progress.Again-this is a long term project.I'll try to keep it as interesting as I can over time.

Go for it, 60 is still young when you have a dream, I know. I still have a top chopping in the back of my mind for my Safari, and I'm 64. I'm deadening the interior and the more panels I pull and get closer to the headliner, the closer the "chop" fever gets.
