Melted fuse block replacement

A friend of mine managed to catch the interior fuse block on fire (too many accessories) on his 1995 Astro. It's melted, mangled and need replaced.

Anyone have the replacement procedure from a factory service manual? Hoping to get his van back on the road soon.

I've looked everywhere for my 95 Eletrical/Emissions FSM , I know the M/L van service manual contains nada, same with the Haynes, If I find I'll let ya know.

In the regular course of my job I have had to do this a few times. I can tell you there is no procedure in any factory service manual on how to do this. It is a job that requires skill & patience & patience & patience.....
Meticulous & repeticious....
Oh, did I mention time consuming?
Not a fun job. #-o

Had a feeling that might be the case. I searched all through my 1998 FSM trying to find something I might be able to relate to the older van and came up empty.

Can you tell me the year range that I can pull a matching block from?

I would guess 93-94-95. OBD1 vans with the 4L60E trans. Just a guess though. And I agree with famvan. That would be a daunting task.
