Another Swap
Thought that I would post up starting another swap, did one a number of years ago ended up parting it should have kept it, but oh well. Have another van the 4.3 just went out so still have all the main parts from the last swap so going to do another

Where are the parts pics? You know we have a saying here...no pics, it didn't happen.
How about some specs. Year of van, AWD or RWD, what engine you are swapping etc.

99 SLT Safari AWD, G80/GT4 rear, Burgundy, 196,000 and counting (strictly AMSOIL) flowmaster 40series muffler no more cat, K&N Kone Filter, roll pan, 255/60/15 rubbers mounted to 15x8.5 inch American Racing Tailgunner wheels, billet grille, CB Radio, Alpine Deck, Shag carpet, the list goes on....
03 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, LB7 Duramax Diesel, 5 speed Allison Tranny, Crew Cab Long Bed, no muffler or cat, 4 inch turbo back and side piped. not too many other mods yet, also addicted to AMSOIL.

Well its a 92 rwd putting in a 305 that has had some work done to it no pics yet haven't started it yet but motor mounts did come in.
Its getting the basic treatment header, TBI, 700r4, nothing to exciting.
I got my Burb running on Saturday so now I have something to drive that will run in the snow, have to convince my wife that she really doesn't need the garage or I get to do in on the RV pad in the snow. Which might not be all that bad sometimes.

I'm a big fan of the 305. Good choice. BUT.......RV pad in the snow!!!!!!!! No way.......not in this lifetime.

yeah but if it keeps the wife happy its all good, built a VW motor in the snow before so not all that bad
