That was a fun read. I liked the line about the new mini vans "bristling with new technology". That made me chuckle a bit. I drove my van to work today and I must say, those bristles of technology no more than the texture of functionality after all these years, but they still get the job done!

I liked the comparison to being "carlike". The Astro was considered the most "Trucklike". I like that, myself.

I see more old Astros on the road than Aerostars or Dodges.

The Astro is a maxi-van, all the others are just mini-vans!

No, it is NOT a maxi-van. It's a Midi-Van. It fits the niche between a full-sized (maxi) van and the (ugh) mini-vans.
