I noticed they weren't all movies, some were TV shows... so let me add a new one to the list. 'Gary Unmarried'. The van is frequently shown in still shots as Gary's work vehicle for his painting company.

actually, i didn't see them listed as in the movie outbreak. it was just on the other night and there were two than transported the two main stars to the 'outbreak' area

I live less than 1 mile from the village spot on the movie. Last week we launched Kayaks from this spot, its called the Hawaiian Village.

I was watching a movie called "very bad things". And the star vehicle is a new style white astro. A group a guys go to Los Vegas; did something horible. In the end a guy goes nuts and drives in to the van cause the van was part of a crime they committed. But the owner of the van loved his van so much he stood infront of it to try to stop the crazy guy, ended up getting crushed to death. It was years ago since I saw it and I only caught the half end of it as I was flipping through the channels on tv. Must see this part...

Another movie that stars an astro is actually in a new Scooby Doo cartoon. I know the original mistery machine is not an astro, but in this movie they designed the van off a astro. Watch it near the end at around 8min and 50sec...

not a movie but in every episode you see at least one astro in the Wangan Midnight anime

i think i saw a couple of mint ones in the movie reds (prolly already mentioned.. but i didn't scan the thread)

Crash, you are absolutely right! I counted one old style Astro (on road) and two Safaris (in the parking garage). This is in the movie RED with Bruce Willis

They used a Gen1 in the 1st or 2nd episode of the new Hawaii Five-O TV series I believe.
