383 dual TBI

The crossfire was single barrel TBIs, not the dual TBIs. The crossfire has very long runners, so it is "tuned" like the later L98 engines are. They're an interesting intake design wise, dunno if I'd want to use one on a performance application but there seem to be enough interesting looking carb conversions out there that using one would be plausible. I thought he had IK180s for some crazy reason though, so I'd definitely not be wanting to run one on a 383 with that much head.

So sorry for slight lag in posting.

update:
I got into dirt track racing and finnally built my shop. I have not finished the vantruck.

I bought a h3 and now plan to take it off the road and drive my new project truck. I will see if I can get a photo loaded.

I might put the 383 in the truck to see how it runs. Yes, can you belive I have not heard it run yet? I need to find that guy that built the ECM and software for teh dual tbi setup.
