No need to be sorry about that. At the rate I move on projects, I figure I'll have to come back from the dead to finish them.

Got it all drawn up. Three phases. Seems like there is a lot of interest in the shop so I will start a thread about that and post the drawings/photos. Looks like it will be spring before I can break ground. It's got to be froze 4 feet down. i'm building it myself so it too will go slow.

Thanks for the comments!

I would like to know more about the dual TBI set up. where did it come from and where did you get the computer to do it?
Recently bought a 1989 Astro RS from Florida. Replaced stock engine witha 1997 5.7 vortec with TBI and replaced transmission with rebuilt 700R4 with mild shift kit.
Bought on Monday the 16th of April 2012

Mark... Jay has not been around since late apr 2010, best to email him direct if you are hoping for a quick answer. If you do get ahold of him, tell em we are all interested in how his van turned out, thanks.

I am curious and would like to know what computer and wiring you are going to use to make this dual TBI work? Custom made or have you found something that comes stock on whatever to make this purr? Love the look as it reminds me of the dual carb setup I had way back when in a hot rod. Being in Kalifornia I doubt I could ever get this by the smog cops.
1989 RS Astro, V-8 and maybe a shift it myself tranny, still deciding on this one. Dutch doors, Cad tail lights, shaving the rest now. 12 bolt rear end was in the van when I got it but changing how it sets to lower.
