Rad Support Issues 95 GMC Safari

Didn't know where to put this, so hopefully this is the right spot. Has anyone here had to deal with a rotted radiator support panel? Went up to the mechanic to check in on Grover, so he let me take a look underneath, and to my horror I discovered the lower rad support on either side of the rad is pretty well rotted out.

I was looking forward to working on the van this weekend to get the rest of the stuff it needs done to pass safety, only to discover this, so my bubble was burst. From what I can tell it's welded on... and of course I don't know how to weld...

Hoping to find a decent panel at the wrecker's and hoping whatever welder I get doesn't make me bend over with a wire brush.
