The 1994 LT turn signals just stopped working.Don't hear anything clicking in the flasher at all.Running light and stop lights work fine.Any suggestions??.I am thinking flasher, but not sure.I am also guessing the fuse is good because of the other lights are working but again I am not sure.

is there a fuse for them at all? i know normally if its just a bulb burnt out they just flash really fast on the dash, which you said is not happening. i tend to over analyze things myself so just trying to help you from spending money on unnecessary parts.

Swap the flasher from the 85. That will give you a clue on that part.

I suggest simply checking the 4 turn signal bulbs first. I can't speak directly to the 94, but with most vehicles I've owned, the dash indicator burns solid, and the flasher does not work when a bulb burns out.

If the brake lights work, then you can go to the front bulbs. If both filaments on the front bulbs are intact, the flasher is the culprit. Go with a SOLID STATE replacement instead of the old mechanical flasher.
If push comes to shove, roll down the driver's side window and STICK OUT YOUR PAW to signal your turns.

Quick tip to test the integrity of the system & bulbs.
Try the hazard lights.
If all the lights work with the hazard lights, it is not a bulb issue. The likely culprit is the signal flasher - which is a separate flasher from the hazard one.

Well with the four way flasher check I found the passenger front light out.Don't think that would effect both side's turn signals. So I am going to replace the one bulb and the flasher.
Is there a solid state flasher that is designed for trailer use??. :-k

I'm using a CEC brand EF32 in my older van. It is electronic and rated at 25 amps per side, and flashes at a normal rate with or without a trailer.

well just for grins and giggles. how about replacing the bulb first and then testing... :-k
I'm curious to know if one bulb out affects the other.

Well it did take me time to get back to this.I did replace just the passenger side bulb and nope still no turn signals.I have four ways through. ](*,) I has a electronic flasher which might be a stock item.I need to know if a electronic flasher is made in a heavy duty version for hooking up trailers to the van.
