Post by astrogus »

Did my pads today on my 1997 Astro and after doing them the BRAKE light is on. I checked fluid the level is fine, pushed emergency brake down and released it, disconnected the positive battery terminal and its still on any ideas? How can i erase the light being on? Thanks for any help. Todd

Faulty proportioning valve will turn the brake light on. To check it, unplug the electrical connector.
