Skip, you're probably right. I just hope the Saudis aint out to. Back home GE sold em our "little local" phosgene production facility for 11 Billion USD. It's been three years since the sale and they've only had one "minor" explosion. Thankfully nobody was hurt.

Thanks for the heads up Astrozam. I'm sure I've used carb cleaner to prep welds, and before reading this I probably wouldn't have thought twice about grabbing a can of brake clean either.

Thanks for the article. Just posted it in our shop here at work and sent to the company shop Mgr. I know we use alot of brake cleaner for cleaning so by posting it may keep someone out of trouble.
