High tops

spotted a nice hightop conversion astro/safari at the pull a part on West 130th, didn't price it but was considering going down there and pulling it (depending on price, I was thinking $75 -$100 would probably get it)
Any thoughts on how hard to remove and reinstall.

and if anyone gets it before me, that's still better than it getting crushed... they had a bunch of Astro earlier this year, now there looks to be under 10 left.

That is exactly what I am going to need to do with my 1985 to Florida body 1989 Astro Ole Yellar project.Your later model of course is a longer version. It is going to take a month or so before I begin that phase of the project.Might want to keep a eye out for the posts.

I'll keep looking in, and if I don't happen pick up this one, I'll keep an eye out for another.... besides the mileage issue, the lack of extra room is another issue I have with the astro/safari. another is the lack of hand room around the engine, I can't even imagine what people who swapped in V8's go through.
