Brake out the Brake section?

Post by Meterpig »

I am sure there are good reasons to have transmissions and brakes in the same place...but....given the volume of posts now, could we separate them out?

Also, I noticed that there are a number of posts that seem to ask the same thing: Brake upgrade, 2wd vs. 4wd brakes...etc. I know it's a major pain to put this together...but one thing I like about AS.com, is that the Brakes are broken out.

So, what do you think?

For my brain, the transmission is a powertrain component, along with the engine and axles. Brakes, suspension, and steering are chassis components. Creating sub-forums is a good idea, and not just for brakes. I think it would help the organise the forum.

You guys are probably right. We have enough volume of threads and posts that we should break the forums down more. It will be a TON of work but I am willing to look at it.

I kind of thought about the amount of work. Looking at it and really just moving anything with "brakes" in the title should be enough.

Thanks for being open to change.
