you do realize that you're now going to have to start taking orders .. LOL (even though other than the u-bolt part I have no idea how they work)

My guess is these are really just industrial fabbed leaf spring blocks with "stabilizers" attached. They sell lift/lower block kits at most auto parts store for about $25. They are made out of aluminum and are not all that durable. I've used them many times to raise and lower vehicles with great success, but never on a truck. I have a few friends that cut square tubing stock and use that for a more rugged lift/lower kit. I believe this is what's going on here.

The 1/4" and no brace flexed more than I liked while getting the U-bolts to torque spec. While it probably never would have actually broke, I definitely didn't like it and I'm sure someone who payed good money for them wouldn't have been happy either.
So 3/8's and a brace it is :rolleyes:
