Bought a fixer upper 99 awd to replace my 95 miled out one.I like the interior of the 95 better, are the door panels interchangeable for these years, just wondering about switches and stuff,I think the mirror adjustment may have to be relocated, just don't know about wiring plug compatability and mounting holes for the panel itself.Any body ever done this?

I haven't tried a swap like what you want to do.So I took a run at it with this as a ref:
That is a ref of junk yards where you plug in your yrs and a list comes up to let you see a yrs range of the selected part.A poor man's cross ref sort of.The thing is that even cross ref's might not include possible door panels due to a minor change that you could over come easily.I suggest you pull both panels and compare. The ref link didn't show promising crosses.Might be just a matter of what you like is the reason why it isn't crossed and the holes match.Let us know what you have found out please.

I believe you can swap door panels, but you will have to change the power switches (cosmetics if nothing else), door handle (go from curved style to the flat bar style). the earlier vans had a metal piece that was either screwed or rivited into the door under the armrests for support, so you will need to move that to the newer van. you will also need to make provisions for the 6 1/2 speakers, because IIRC the pre 96 vans dont have door speakers (measure twice cut once)
its not a straight swap, but its certainly doable. I've thought long and hard about it since the earlier door panels are much more durable and are IMO a nicer design.
as for the mirror adjustment, if the '95 panels don't have provisions, you can always make a hole.
it cant hurt to pop both the door panels off and compare them in person.
