Stanley Cup? Isn't that a game where grown men skate around on ice wearing shorts and long underwear, slapping around a frozen Ding Dong with sticks and smiling with very few teeth?

Unfortunately they announced this morning that Horton is out for the remaining games with a severe concussion. ( why not Kaberle ?? )
Lucky we still have Tim Thomas stopping 40 or 41 shots. I liked the commentary last night when they compared Tim Thomas to a Beer League goalie with a 2 million dollar salary !!

Canucks are gonna own game 4, because they had a nice rest/day off during game 3..
On the one hand, I'm glad Horton is going to be OK, eventually.

Tim Thomas is from Davison, Mi, about 10 minuts up the road from where I'm from. I wanted to see how much he's making this year so I looked him up and found this on his Wiki page:
Personal life
Tim and wife Melissa[11] have 3 children; daughters Kiley, born August 2000 and Kelsey, born May 2005, and son Keegan, born September 2006.[12]
On Monday, June 6th, 2011, Tim was rumored to be having a medical procedure that would remove his testicles and replace them with balls of steel, furthering his transformation into a puck-seeking android in front of the net.

So Thomas had his testees removed?!?! Ok Then.
But kinda bittersweet, I went fishing with the kids again tonight while the nucks got stomped...again ](*,)

Yeah, it's stupid that the finals run into June. Keep the long playoff run but cut back the regular season to 72 games.
