As many of you know I just lost the engine in the daily driver 1994 LT.I found a low mileage 94 W engine for it for $450.But if it had been a easier access engine compartment I would have never farmed out the intake manifold gasket job that lead to me losing the engine because that job was poorly done.
That said,my first priority/choice to replace the LT is looking for a S10 4.3 pick-up RWD with a cap as a daily driver/shop truck.Hopefully I am going to find one that is affordable.I am still going to finish Ole Yellar as planed.

Skip-I look forward to working in a S10 engine compartment.I do think with a 4.3 given the fact those trucks are lighter,I will get better gas mileage too.

HaHa, getta love our 4.3s. It has 5 less rated HP than my 4 cyl Colorado and less milage than the LS1 V8 Astro I had.

Yup, Sometimes its just easier to get a cheep one to drive, that has lots of parts you can use.
I guess thats why I'm driving my 4th Stro still.
I see astros around here starting at 500 bux all the time. S10's too.
