Odds that you'll ever be in an accident that bad, slim.

You are right...

You could just run into a fluffy bunny and yer junk gets totaled.

Great investment, huh?

I'll start with the insurance. I am not pleased with the way that they so quickly count our vans as totaled in the event of a collision.
It is an issue that I need to discuss with my insurance carrier. More on that after I have spoken with them.

Jim

How is your investigation with your insurance company going ?

Am I incorrect in believing that a vehicle can be insured for an agreed upon value ? Then if it is totaled you would be getting what you thought if was worth.

I'm always amazed at how the windshield remains untouched in that video.

I think the lesson is simple, Jim. Just don't crash into immovable walls. Instead, choose softer targets such as Civics, Smarts, Minis and scooters. You can also install a lift kit to increase the likelihood of being the one "on top". With all the lowered Japanese cars with body kits in Vancouver, I have to worry more about being launched into the air :muhaha:

Viewing the Liberty forums, it's kinda neat what a lift and rock rails can do to a vehicle's survivability when confronted with a car.
