95 Astro front end conversion

my 95 Astro has the 7"x6" headlights but the wide turn signals. I want to convert the front end to the newer style headlights. looking at pictures it looks like all I would need is the headlights and a new grille. I don't know if the newer headlights will bolt into anything behind where the old lights are now.

has anyone done this? any tips?

I think socaliV8 has a set of these for sale .. they are known as 'composite headlights' i think. then all you'd need is a grill. they really smooth out the look of the front end

I was looking at the projector style headlights.

I plan on doing some work this weekend on the van, maybe I'll put the grille and headlights out and see what is going on.
