rear a/c delete procedure

Post by fasteddy »

Is it possible to put a new loop on the rear a/c lines (connecting supply to return) when I delete the rear a/c? I'd keep it, but the lines are rusty and probably holey, and ahead of the unions around the front of the gas tank, the lines look fine.

Or does somebody make a flare fitting plug to plug both?

I just did this with the rear heat... Sort of, long story.

Anyway, Yes GM makes the parts.

Research parts for vans without rear ac.

when i deleted mine on one of the past vans i just grabbed a front hose off a van that had front only. i pulled my hose that split off for the rear. then off the condenser, cut and had the AC place cap it. replaced the seals and had recharged at the AC place.

just another alternative...
