You will also need a 4x4 tranny and a transfer case. Definitely will be easiest to grab an AWD sub frame with a front diff and suspension already attached.
Current rides:
2013 Toyota Tundra DC 4x4
2008 Dodge Nitro 4x4
2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8S Special Edition

Vans owned:

1998 Astro 4x4 D44, D60, NP231, full hydraulic system with 9k# Milemarker winch and snow plow - sold to Lockdoc
2003 Astro AWD all stock - traded for a 3/4 ton truck

[quote="sfeaver"]What year are you looking to convert?
:^o I HAVE A 94 EXT Rwd, I have alreedy lifted the back by adding a second set of OEM leaf spings. I believe it lifted it about 3" to 5".
For this van I will most likly will just lift the front now to an equal hight as the back for time and expence. I just need to know if iI will need to lengthen the steering shaft since the front springs I will be replacing?
I an looking at an 95 EXT AWD close to my local. That may be and better 4X4 convert option latter on. :-k
