 doe's any body have a astro van that came stock with the rear fold out seat that makes into a couch and or bed ??? I'm dealing with the choice of taking out either the rear or :swords: both the 2nd and third seat to make room for mattress on the floor or trying to retrofit the the third seat into a fixed position couch ?? is there someone that has done this successfully ???? or a alternative after market application that services the the approach ??? Please advise Steve \:D/ :peep:

The only seats that folded down into a bed were found in conversion vans. GM never had them stock. Look in the Outdoors - Camper Van section for ideas for a custom setup.

Hey Steve.
Astrofaris only come with fold-in seats from the factory, not fold fold-out. However, there are conversion companies that bought these vans, retrofitted them for camping, and resold them. You can buy seats that fold out and put them in yourself, but they will bolted, not quick-release. The rest of us come up with our own custom solutions. :) All the info is available in the forum at the touch of the search button (mostly in the "ASV Outdoors & Camping" section). Good luck and make sure to post lots of pics!

The rear benches in an LT model do recline (fold backward so to speak) but not fully flat.

Very nice for catching some Zzzzzzs on the road.

I saw a cool way to hang a hammock inside the van, with all the seats installed, in that section of the forum.....

I found a fold-down seat from a conversion Astro in the yard for $35.
It does have quick release mounts so they are out there.
Super handy for stripping the interior for cargo/lumber/motorcycle hauling.
