I am now disabled. The orthopaedist has decreed that the damage to my foot is so severe that I am NOT to return to work. I have an appointment to be fitted with custom orthotics and shoes due to the deformation of my tortured tootsie.
Now all I have to do is wait for SSDI to be approved ($1200/mo and backdated 4 years!)

Lets just hope you don't have to wait another 4 years for the first check! Glad it's getting sorted out and sorry it has to be because your foot is messed up.
