hey all, glad to be back! had to take a breif hiatus due to not actually having a van anymore.

so i bought another one. 2003 astro awd.

just one weird thing. even when the key is off, and the switches are off, the fan for the hvac still blows......had to take the fuse out so it didnt kill my battery. any ideas????

Is it the high speed that blows? If so it might be the relay is stuck closed. It is part of the resistor assembly so you'll have to replace the whole pack. You could tap on the resistor pack to see if it releases. It is located behind the washer fluid reservoir and coolant overflow bottle in the heater / A/C duct work.
