94 CPI to 85 carbed 350

Can I put a 85 carbed 350 into a 94 CPI astro?If so what will I need?

The quick answer is it has been done before. A member named Chops went to a carb on his swap.(not a cpi,but a tbi)Then said how he regretted it over and again.Not sure what carb your talking about.

You'll need the carbed engine, a vacuum/mechanical advance type distributor, sensors off the 4.3L for temperature etc and lastly a 700R4 transmission or TH-350 and the required modifications to use it. You can use an aftermarket controller if you want to keep your current gear box. Probably a few other things I am forgetting but those are the huge ones overall. You'll also need to do some electrical modifications but that shouldn't be a huge deal. You may need to figure out accessory brackets depending on what heads you use as well. Not all the holes are there for serpentine accessories on a pre-87 engine. You'd want to change the water pump if you went v-belt.
